Danny has over 15 years of experience leading interdisciplinary work. His primary expertise is in software, structural engineering (including dynamics), and mathematical modeling. Danny is currently developing software for complex engineering simulations, workflows, and digital twins in power-generating industries such as nuclear, and gas turbines.
Experience
With a Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Danny went into consultancy where he has been able to develop skills in both mechanical engineering and software engineering.
Danny’s early career focused on the use, extension, and automation of Finite ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃAnalysis tools for structural analysis, getting particularly excited about pushing the boundaries of commercial tools such as Abaqus, Ansys, and LS-Dyna.
With a spell delivering safety-critical software, Danny has mixed this with deep experience of Finite ÌÇÐÄlogoÃ×·ÆÍÃAnalysis tools to develop new methods for structural analysis.
Since then, Danny’s focus has been on delivering software for engineering; from efficient methods for reduced order models to workflow automation to developing new material behavioral models.
